FieldTripZoom
Our Way of Learning Homeschool Collective is excited to offer our members access to additional online learning opportunities via FieldTripZoom! Presentations are provided by a number of reputable organizations, such as the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, the St. Louis Zoo, Denver Museum of Nature & Science, Space Center Houston, and many more. The experts you will meet during the programs have an unmatched passion for their subject matter and are always presenting from unique settings and locations.

Below is some info on the service, how to use it, and what to expect while using it:

• Field Trip Zoom is a live, one-way video broadcasted over the internet and viewed on laptops or mobile devices. Teachers and students can watch the program, but the content provider cannot see the teachers and students.

• OWL Members will not be able to see each other or any of the other participants during the event.

• The number of classrooms attending could be in the hundreds or even more than a thousand. The program is however, very interactive, as the students can ask questions to the host with text chat or polling.

• It is recommended that you download Zoom prior to the event on the device you will be using. A link to the event will become available when you RSVP.

• OWL is providing access to this service, but is not the provider of the service. Therefore, the OWL member hosting the event will not be able to assist with technical difficulties.

• Please feel free to offer feedback on the service. Either message the event host on Meetup or email owlsiouxfalls@gmail.com
